Pretending

“If you want to be happy, don’t do something you don’t like. Don’t say something you don’t mean. Pretending and lying to yourself will only breed unhappiness.” ~Michael Lee PRETENDING How often do you pretend you are okay when actually you're not. Like many of us are now master in it. How often you just suppress that feeling and pretend to be okay? Why can't we be just be yourself? Why we have to pretend this much? Even if we know pretending things will make it even more worse. We all are pretending to be someone, we are not. It's exhausting. We think avoiding our problems or running away from it willl make us happy but let me tell you avoiding your own feeling will make it more complicated. You need to feel every bit of it in order to heal from it. Please understand, you need to stay with that hurt in order to heal. When someone says, “How are you?”, we are most likely to say “I’m fine!”. Now, I get that it would be odd if we went around complaining and wallowing in ...

Just a reminder

I hate it when people don't let you process your insecurities in peace and force their toxic positivity on to you until you no longer tell them about your stuff that bothers you. I also hate that these are always the most perfect people with the most perfect lives virtually no securities but they somehow choose to ignore the fact that you give them time and space enough to process whatever they're feeling?? I get that most of them are just trying to be nice but like this is not how it's supposed to be done. You're not supposed to ask your friend to bury their insecurities deep inside and top it all off  with empty compliments that hold no meaning for you or for them. If you ask them what they're feeling be prepared for an answer that may not fit into your definition of acceptance. And if you can't , please stop acting like you care and stop calling them dramatic. Letter to myself

// Left me in pain and now i feel nothing else// I'm not going to write poem or a abstract about it. I'm it going to make it seem beautiful or romanticize the idea of heart breaking. It's not beautiful and it's not at all romantic. It hurts deep enough to get me to stop feeling. Today is one of those days when I don't feel like existing. And I'm not gonna sugar coat it, or say that I'm posting it to benefit you. No, I'm doing it for me. I'm not trying to be a poster kid for mental health and speaking out right now. I'm just being a human who wants to put it out there that she isn't okay and that's okay. I'm not trying to be inspiring anyone. I'm just embracing my truth and being me. I'm not afraid of emotions anymore, they're just another aspect of life. I feel nothing these days. Nothing goes deeper into my consciousness or experience. Just one request, don't ask me what happened or anything like that. Don't t...

It's okay, not to be okay.

|| It's okay, not to be okay || . Does a hey! I'm alright note succeed in making you feel alright? Even when you're fighting endless battle and aren't okay at all? Hiding tears behind your smile or laugh, fearing queries of whys or maybe been judged or been misunderstood. . You're not okay whenever you find anything relatable and your heart kicks your stomach, yet you hide your tears with stupid excuses like "something went into my eyes."
